Unifying Liberation Party Condemns ECOWAS Leader’s Hypocrisy and Calls For Re-evaluation of Their Stance on The Potential Military Intervention In Niger!

4 min read

The Unifying Liberation Party vehemently condemns the shameless hypocrisy and double standards displayed by the ECOWAS leaders club.

Their blatant prioritization of personal interests and those of their masters over the well-being of West African communities is utterly disgraceful.

The current ECOWAS leaders of West Africa have been exposed as working for their own selfish interests and those of their puppet masters.

They have demonstrated a complete incapability to reason and adequately respond to the needs and wants of our current generation.

The recent audacious ultimatum of using military intervention by ECOWAS is an affront to the dignity of Africans, shamelessly undermining the sovereignty of nations facing internal conflicts.

“Holding ECOWAS accountable for their decisions and actions is an absolute necessity, and transparency in justifying any military interventions is paramount.”

The Unifying Liberation Party demands that ECOWAS address the valid concerns raised about the financial backing of any military missions, as it is certainly not in our names nor in the interests of our African continent.

Why do you want to kill your own citizens in the name of restoring constitutional order that only serves the interest of France and entrenches its neo-colonial grip over the country?

In fact, what is ECOWAS doing to help those countries and citizens of our African continent who are still fighting for their total independence from the economic subjugation and exploitation of their natural resources by France? Nothing, right?

How dare they threaten to use military action against the liberators of their country, in the name of restoring constitutional order without understanding the root causes of their actions or revolution against France?

“We highlight the fact that the revolutionary leadership of Mali, Burkina Faso, Algeria, and Guinea Conakry has declared that any attempt by ECOWAS to attack the coup leaders in Niger will be interpreted as a declaration of war against Guinea Conakry, Algeria, Mali, and Burkina Faso too.”

NB: – Such a scenario could potentially plunge the entire West African region into a devastating conflict with far-reaching consequences.

The strong stance taken by these nations reflects their unwavering support for the coup leaders in Niger and underscores their determination to defend their fellow revolutionary leaders who are all determined to break the chains of economic and mental slavery imposed on them by former colonial France.

These countries are all sending a clear message to our useless leaders that any aggression against one of their own will not be taken lightly and it will tantamount to an attack on their citizens and comrades in the struggle against France and it’s neocolonial policies in Africa.

The prospect of a war involving multiple countries in the region would exacerbate already existing humanitarian crises, disrupt regional stability, and escalate tensions between neighboring nations.

And as a matter of fact, Innocent civilians would bear the brunt of such a conflict, facing displacement, violence, and further suffering.

Additionally, a regional conflict would strain diplomatic relations between ECOWAS member states, potentially leading to a breakdown in cooperation and hindering collective efforts to address other pressing challenges in the region, such as terrorism, economic development, and governance.

ECOWAS leaders must heed this warning and reconsider their stance on using military intervention. Instead of escalating tensions, they should prioritize peaceful dialogue, mediation, and finding a diplomatic resolution to the crisis in Niger.

Collaborative efforts, based on mutual understanding and respect for each nation’s sovereignty, are essential to fostering lasting peace and prosperity in the West African region.

The Unifying Liberation Party calls on ECOWAS to engage in open and transparent dialogues with the revolutionary leadership of Mali, Burkina Faso, Algeria,  and Guinea Conakry to seek a peaceful resolution and prevent the potential devastating consequences of military action.

It is time for ECOWAS to uphold the principles of regional cooperation, unity, and respect for the aspirations of each nation, and do away with those who seeks to covertly utilise our institutions to ensure their continuous grip on our continent.

The well-being and stability of West African communities depend on leaders making wise and principled decisions that prioritize peace and the common good of the region, and our African continent as a whole.
